With model M2MLS (input: 1-5 Vdc, output: 4-20 mA), when both inputs 1 and 2 are 0 Vdc, the M2MLS provides the output greater than 4 mAdc. Why? MS Word

0 Vdc of the range 1-5 Vdc is -25%. As the M2MLS unit multiplies two inputs, the output will be (-25%) x (-25%) = +6.25%. That's the reason the M2MLS provides the output more than 4 mAdc.
To solve this problem, use the Math Function Module model M2XF instead of M2MLS. With the M2XF, input limiter function is equipped. You can program the output to 4 mA even with the inputs 0V, utilizing this limiter function with programming unit model JXCON.
