M-Systems
PC Recorder MSR128 series is a Windows-PC-based recorder software program, which
connects to economical I/O modules such as models RZUS, RZMS, R1M, R2M, R3 and
R5 for DC mV, mA, thermocouple, RTD/potentiometer inputs and discrete I/Os. MSR128
is fully featured enabling the logging, trending acquisition and analysis of application
data. Combined with I/O modules, MSR128 provides a low cost industrial grade data
acquisition system. In Japan, under the Total Pollutant Load Control, continuous measurement
of total nitrogen and total phosphor is required for private businesses that discharge
over certain volume of industrial wastewater. Measurement method is requested
not by manual analysis but has to use the system of automatic measurement device
and data management. Application
per drawing to the right is using R1M-GH to do analogue data acquisition of total
nitrogen, total phosphor and COD (chemical oxygen demand) level. Flow measurement
of discharged wastewater is used R1M-P4s pulse totalizing counter inputting
pulse signal from flow meter. Polled data is available to monitor on MSR128 recorder software installed in a
PC. MSR128-V4 stores data in binary and exportable to CSV format, which is handled
by popular spreadsheet software packages such as Microsoft Excel. The MSR128LS
or LV stores data in CSV format.
