Upgrading Existing Manual Loading System

We have M-System’s Analog Backup Station Model AB.

Now we have a plan to replace an existing equipment and want to improve our flow control system. We require some additional function on this unit AB.

When switched from MANUAL to AUTO mode, specific fixed value is required to be output.
When start-up after put off the power, fixed preset valued initial output is required.

We considered adding an external circuit in order to get this function. Alternatively, we can consider replacing the AB with any other M-System product, which have this kind function. Please advise.

We’d like to recommend you to use our analog backup station, Model MXAB.

This module can output a preset value when switched from MANUAL to AUTO. Also when power input is reset, this unit provides the fixed initial value output.

You can program the preset value via front ITEM# Up-Down keys and DATA Up-Down keys. Other than above function, the MXAB enable you to program other parameter such like “moving average”, “response time”, “UP-DOWN key response time”, “display range scaling” and many other parameters configurable.

The MXAB fits the same base socket of the AB’s one also the same connecting terminal number so you can replace the AB with the MXAB very easily. If you have UP-DOWN command operator, model ST/STL, then you can use it with MXAB as well as AB.
