Motor minimum speed control

We use an inverter to control motor speed at factory production line.

A controller unit provides 4-20mA control signal and the inverter drives the motor.

On the 4-20mA line, we’d like to set low limit speed control adjustment manually by using potentiometer on the panel. Does M-System have any solution for this application?

MS Word

M-System recommends you to use High/Low Selector (model: M2SES) and Potentiometer transmitter (model: W2MS). As for the M2SES, please specify selecting function as “high input”. Please give both the control signal (figure 1, signal A) and the low limit speed signal (figure 1, signal B) to the M2SES. The low limit speed signal, for example 20%, can be manually set by the W2MS with the potentiometer. If the signal from the controller goes under the low limit speed signal, the M2SES select the low limit speed signal set by the W2MS. Our model W2MS is a signal spilitter, you can connect digital panel meter (model: 46DL2) on the 2nd output to monitor/confirm low limit speed signal set by the potentiometer.
