By using a User specific RTD table in a PC configurator (model: M3LRCON*), the specific RTD value can be defined as “User specific RTD value” in the format of texts. i.e.) 100-500 ohm / 300 points. The M3LR accepts 2-wire, 3-wire or 4-wire input, available for various types of special resistors.

2-Wire temperature sensor is used with a dispense gun’s heater which melts the Hot Melt Adhesive. We like to convert its 100 to 500 ohm special non-linear resistance to 4-20mA DC signal. I only know about a Pt100 ohm input type transmitter. Is there a field configurable transmitter which can accept a special resistance input?
